When?

The 2nd CCC caching league begins August 1st and runs through to the end of October

How does this work?

Participating in the league is easy, when you find a cache note down your log position, If you were FTF you get 5 points, 2nd or 3rd gets 3 points, 4th through 6th, 2 points and 7th through 10th gets a point.

You now also get points for the combined difficulty/terrain rating of the cache. Just add the star ratings together along with your log position score, for example:

if you are FTF on a cache with a 2X2 star rating, your total score for that cache is 9 (5 for FTF + 4 for the star rating). If you are 11th (or higher) to find on a cache with a star rating of 5X3.5, your score for that cache is 8.5 (0+5+3.5=8.5) for that cache. As you can see, it is not necessary to pursue FTF’s to be in first place..

But wait, there's more (Click here for additional rules)

Additional Rules

1) You will be allowed to submit your best 20 caches for each month. Scores must be e-mailed to The Ax the first week of following month. If you do not send in your scores, you will be assigned zero points;
2) If you do not complete 20 caches during any month, you can still submit your score for the caches you have completed.
3) All types of caches will apply except events.
